This site is about air conditioning, what it is and how it works to keep us feeling cool and comfortable during the hottest weather in summer.

I'm Elmar Biss, HVAC consultant and specialist and I like to write about my speciality in simple terms so anyone outside the industry can understand what I'm sharing. The general idea is to provide enough information about the AC system that keeps you cool during the hot summer months in your home or office for you to understand what's going on under the hood!

Air conditioning is so important when you live in a climate that has hot summers, which is pretty much most places in the country. It's wonderful to come home from a hard day's work and get out of the sumemr heat into a nice cool house where you can relax and chill!
